Linux Users' Groups Webring

This is a site dedicated to the Webring that will shortly provide a listing of all the major Linux User's Groups worldwide - hopefully.

There is a definite need for a quality webring (not a directory of mere "homepages" or "ring collectors") dedicated to Linux and GNU/GPL. Listing all the User's Groups currently formed and willing to participate seems like a good idea: A way to have an easily accessable listing of available Linux resources.

If you have a website that is owned by or dedicated to a Linux/free UNIX User's Group that you would like to submit for membership into the webring, please take the time to fill out this form. NOTE: This ring maintains HIGH STANDARDS, and thus, we do not accept submissions lightly, nor freely. If you are not a Linux User's Group website (or a CLOSELY related topical site), you need not apply. You will be emailed with confirmation shortly after submission.

At the bottom of the page there is a sample code fragment for sites listed in the webring. After acceptance, you will be emailed with the site id number you need to insert into the links. Of course, the look and feel of these code fragments are suggestions only, and you are not required to use these exact graphics, or display the fragment exactly this way, as long as functionality of the HTML is left intact and done well.
